Kingdom of the Mountain and the Vale, ruled by House Arryn of the Eyrie
Kingdom of the Isles and Rivers, ruled by House Hoare of castle Harrenhal. Formed when the Iron Islands conquered the Riverlands.
Kingdom of the Rock, ruled by House Lannister of Casterly Rock
Kingdom of the Stormlands, ruled by House Durrandon of Storm's End
Kingdom of the Reach, ruled by House Gardener of Highgarden
Dorne, ruled by House Martell of Sunspear.



Aegon's Conquest

2 BC: Aegon's Conquest Begins.

With the support of his sister-wives and dragons, Aegon I sets out to conquer Westeros. The War of Conquest results in the fall of the independent Kingdoms, and the unification of the regions of Westeros excluding Dorne, which remained an independent princedom. At this point, the Targaryen Dynsasty was established and the Great Houses of Westeros were implemented. Following his success in the conquering of the Seven Kingdoms, Aegon the Conqueror announced the creation of a new castle, Red Keep. He had the swords of all who opposed him melted into the Iron Throne.
